Supra V8 Grand Stand View

I managed to get this short video of MM's Supra at the start line of the Kop Hill Climb. There didn't seem to be much grip at the starting point, all the old cars with enough power were wheel spinning off the line and all the new M's and AMG's with their traction control systems were killing the power and the revs, but not so with the Supra. It sounded great!

It revs so quickly the fly wheel is very light. Unfortunately there is something wrong with the gearbox. After the second run it was struggling to select gears.

It really did sound awesome and it looks very cool too.
Gutted about the gearbox, hope it's nothing too serious

I've been keeping an eye on the Meets/Event thread and haven't been able to make any of the Ox or Bucks ones. Last one I went on was over a year and a half ago! I used to be in Oxford but I'm in High Wycombe now and do t think I've changed my profile.
Your Z4 wasn't the one with grey 107 wheels was it firebobby?I'm sure that was a dark blue Zed

Spent a good few hours walking round and managed to miss every one

Saw a silver 35i leaving when I was walking back out to the car, but that was it!

Good day though, weather was better than Saturday

Yes it was, I decided to take it in the end and glad I did as the weather turned out well. I live in Stokenchurch so next time we have a meet I will message you.

Of course we've spoken before, I remember now, sorry such a poor memory I have. Very nice colour by the way and the wheels really suit it.

He was offered the chance to drive up the hill but I think he was scared of the power on tap :wink:

Great pictures Fred. Not sure i am scared of the power lol but i am scared to drive my mates baby!! Plus we knew the gearbox was playing up. and selecting gears was getting harder and harder. The car is parked in the workshop where it will stay untouched for a few weeks. it took quite a bit out of us getting it ready for yesterday. We both need a brake from Japaneses sports cars or cars in general!!
