(where is the smiley with the big machine gun?)

Love the barrel length and matte finish! Most excellent for detering unwanted felines and tree rats, also great for those annoying black crows. Here ya go Ship  :

cats are the no. 1 reason for our severe decline in native songbirds not to mention they piss on my wheels, front door and walk on my truck - they're fair game on my property  . Have a cat or dog? Keep it in your own yard, don't expect me to tolerate it in mine.

disclaimer: personally, I only 'ping' them unless they're harming any of my farm animals, then they get shot. One sting on the ass and I usually don't see them again. I haven't seen a stray cat or washed cat piss off my aluminum American Racing wheels on my truck in over 3 years.

as a cat owner it is quite hard to limit where a cat goes, sure to locking them away indoors, which is just cruel...

I do however get rather annoyed with the neighbours cat sitting on my soft top :o hard to get the hair off :tumbleweed:

I agree, it's next to impossible to control where a cat wonders outside. However that's not my problem. One chooses to own a cat/dog/whatever, you have a responsibility to keep it from being a nuisance to others. I had a cat once and it indeed stayed indoors. It lived a very happy, healthy life and died at 13 years of age. I don't agree that it's cruel to keep them indoors. My kitty was very well adjusted, played and was loved and very well taken care of. What he was not, however was an annoyance to others. I obviously don't hate cats, but I wont tolerate them killing my Bluebirds and Cardinals and pissing all over my wheels and front door and harming my foul.
As far as your neighbors cat on MY CONVERTIBLE TOP:

You're tolerant beyond words

edited for spelling:

I shall rephrase... If a cat has been brought up from a kitten as an indoor cat then I guess it doesnt know any different and will be happy. We keep our cats inside at night and always have done and they are fine with it. If we are late letting them out.. or dont for other reasons, they get rather grumpy to say the least.

I wouldnt like to think they were annoying my neighbours - and I would hope that they could/would tell me if they were :) Probably helps that most of my neighbours have cats/dogs of their own...

As for pissing everywhere, male cats are much worse than females as they tend to mark territory etc.. our two are female and alot easier to manage and have never seen them peeing over anything other than the litter tray or the soil in the garden.

The neighbours cat... well what can I say I cant be there all the time to tell it off....

Since I live out of the city we tend to get a lot of "drop off cats" from people who think they are doing the right thing by "setting them free" once they get tired of them. Unfortunately I've had enough birds and chipmunks killed around my place that I am simply fed up with people letting their cats kill off the wild animals.

If a cat has a collar on and I catch it in my live trap (bought one just to catch cats with since they are so common) then I might take it to the shelter if it's the first time I catch it. If the cat is wild or looks wild, it's toast. I've lost count of how many I've trapped and disposed of over the 11 years I've lived in this current house.

This stuff about "cats are meant to roam outside"? Well, you can believe and do what you like - just don't expect your cat to come back from being on my property.

Great toy for us in the uk...but you live in the US. You could just get a real machine-gun. Then instead of killing the cat just pistol-whip it :D (I am only joking, I have a cat and you certainly should not pistol whip it...unless its on your Z)

someone shot my cat, they could kiss their sex life goodbuy

WTF with a gun like that,, only in America

Bottom line: I'm not responsible for your animals. I am responsible for mine. I will do what I need to do to protect them, my property and the native animals that live on it. End of story.

OK I have seen a lot of life (and death). I have seen a lot of the world too and I understand there are big differences around the world:

Chop someones hands off for stealing a loaf of bread.
Get married at 14.
Drive on the left/right!
Speedo's!

So I understand you think it is acceptable to shoot a cat. Just like the Japanese think it is acceptable to kill whales. Although I accept we live in different continents and your culture has had less time to develop civility, lets just agree to disagree on this one.

This isn't about other cultures but you're more then welcome to start a thread about it :) . It's about me not being responsible for your animals destruction and/or injury of my animals or property. Any civil culture would agree on that.

I have not insulted your country ever, I will not lift my nose that high in the air. Don't insult mine. So much for your civilty.

And I suppose eliminating someones' sexlife is 'civil' as well - quite hypocritical.

I have not insulted your country - if my comment regarding civility was open to misinterpretation I apologise. I meant that the population in my overpopulated Island has been forced to make more compromises than yours. It is tough having 55 million people in such a small area. You are lucky to live somewhere so big and open.

I stand by my first post on this thread. I like the toy but I do not agree with shooting cats with an air rifle. If you are going to shoot them do it properly and make sure you either miss or the cat dies. Don't let them suffer.

Like I said before no offence - it is just that where I live shooting cats is not acceptable but I understand that you may think it is.
