Has anyone experienced a Superchip in their car. I’m only expecting a slight increase in power but overall improved drivability. If their claims are genuine it is a fairly effortless way to get a more responsive engine. 14 Hp and small torque increase but more linear delivery. Car has only done 52,000 miles
Very few options here in Wellington NZ.
Thanks in anticipation.

I suspect you will notice very little difference indeed. I think the only benefit of chipping / remapping on an NA car is to remove any flatspots and increase smoothness but the M54 doesn't tend to suffer too much in that respect anyway. Save your money.

Thanks, the jury is still out on this, I just can’t stop myself at times. MAybe just keep the money in my “M” bank account !!

The biggest difference most folks notice on a NA engine is that tuners usually increase the throttle response in the same way the sport button does or a sprint booster etc. It makes the car feel more responsive/quicker to the perception of the driver without actually having to gain an actual increase in power/torque
