Superchip remap fitted on N20. Wow

Had this done today by a lovely chap called Adam who really knew his stuff (ex AA and qualified mechanic). Took about 45 minutes and a 15 minute test drive. Cost was £279 all in and you pay the fitter once happy. He wore a mask the whole time and noticably kept his distance so more brownie points from me.

What a difference! Mine was the 156bhp engine, so it has made an absolute world of difference.
Even reversing out of the garage at tickover I could feel the difference. The car feels like it is just breathing freely without being held back. The slight hesitation I noticed at around 1500rpm has gone. The car pulls solidly from 2000rpm, then from around 3500rpm it just flies.

It feels like I have traded an old tired Labrador for a champion Greyhound. The car feels like it wants to play and is urging to get into it's power band.

This is all in comfort mode btw, can't wait to try it in sport. This is the generic dyno printout for the map, obviously I don't have figures for my specific vehicle.

Is this a joke? Weren't you just lambasting people for potentially selling their car due to it not being essential?

How on earth do you rationalise getting a bloke turn up to your house for something as trivial as a remap when you are so concerned about covid?

How did you get on with insurance?
I'm with LV, It cost £15 extra, but mine and wife's insurance is cheap anyway. We are both tapping on a bit and have 250 years NCB between us. Both with clean licences. Live in a low risk postcode, etc....

No. I am not in the mood for another argument with you today, sorry. Call back tomorrow. And, yes, I am extremely concerned about Covid; as should we all be!
