Supercharger or turbo

in the near future i will tune up my car with a supercharger, but one guy told me that he will fit a turbo in his z4, it's better than the super on a z4 coz the engine is high pressured or something like that !!

then i was wondering which is better a supercharger or a turbo ?!!

from what i know aftermarket turbos r not good the super is safer for the engine, don't know if i'm right or not !!

i'm confused between the VF engineering and the ESS super. the VF have more HP but less torque, the ESS have less HP but high torque !! which one i go for, i don't know !!?
is the higher the torque the more power it gives ?!

VF gives 330 HP, 275 torque
ESS 320 HP, 400 torque

see the difference

i email the VF tech but no reply !!! i don't know why !!? r they like that not answering any body !!!

any suggestions :) plz need help :?

From those spec's it has to be the ESS charger. Torque is how easily the car accelerates, to put it very simply. Power is your top-end. 400 Nm over 275 Nm will be hugely noticeable.

kal it looks like you're comparing 275 lb ft with 400 Nm, which is around 295 lb ft. A standard engine couldn't take enough boost that it would take to make 400 lb ft.

also, be prepared to spent the big buck$ if you want a RELIABLE turbo system.

My advise: ESS Twinscrew or SK+ centri. The centri's have been installed for several years, so the experience is just there. It is not a simply bolt on and here we go... in most cases the problem is the correct DME software... an area were ESS has a lot of expertise.

Twinscrew is a bit more difficult to fit and more sensitive to vacuüm leaks, but overall the more "modern" solution.

Your zzzz is a 3.0, correct?

yeah my ZZZZ is 3.0i

so u suggest i go with ess, don't know if somebody here have experienced the VF, i remember one time in z4um a guy said that the z4 on the VF website is his they r testing it on his ZZ but i don't remember who he was
