Supercharged

Ive not heard of any reputable tuner offering this as a conversion and so I guess you have to ask why. The likely answer being that I doubt there is any demand out there for such a conversion.

If youre willing to pay a kings ransom i'm sure you will be able to find someone to do it, but surely BMW have already spent millions developing a reliable and safe forced induction e89 in the 35i and 35is.

It would be far cheaper to buy and insure one of these as all the other components such as brakes and suspension have been careful engineered and tested to ensure they can cope with the performance. Mainstream insurers will run a mile from a modified e89 with a supercharger.

I believe the 23i uses the N52 engine, so perhaps try a google 'bmw n52 supercharged' to see if there's a solution that might map to your car?
 
For the extra money you have to spend getting it FI'd I'd rather sell up and get the 35i and do the tuning from there onwards
