Supercharge z4 list

ESS are making one but he engine dose not take well to forced induction. Something to do with the n52 casting material I think.

^ that, and something about being able to oull vacuum for the bypass valve. I'm not familiar enough with the N52 to say for certain. You can't run a blower without a bypass valve though.

I think this guy needs to be on the list- loved following this thread back in the day and if anyone is thinking of supercharging their z it would be worth a read!

Yes, I sold it. But I'm back with my E86 :P

Would be good if you all listed your BHP and torque so we could see what power each different setup makes.

In performance bmw mag this month there is an e46 with an ESS TS2 supercharger, Schrick 248/256 cams and e36 m3 evo high flow headers putting out over 400bhp .......it got me thinking that's for sure

Is that the car from a guy called David? (a blue 330i).

If so he has a topic on e46zone.com.

I am planing on a 2k build but it's going to be a lot of fabrication work witch I can do. It won't be a normal set up either. It will be remote meaning the turbos in the boot. It will have full as you drive mapping ability and standalone ecu so I can have multiple maps a safe 350bhp - to crazy Bhp. The system will be built on 2 small turbos with the ability to run up to 650bhp and similar tourqe. Obviously a forged engine will be needed for that. 2k should buy all the bits I need. Then rolling road and tuning time on top that could cost £££££ but should be reasonable with the ecu I am planing on using.

Thread hijack sorry Mac.

Did this ever get built?
