guys what can u tell me about super chips ?! do they give me power ?!

i have one of my friends that have audi q7 and want to put a super chip he was askin me what's gonna happen
It's pretty generic programming. I know several people who have it on their E46. None of them can feel any difference and none of them would've gotten it if they were to do it again.
