"Supaguard"

Hi Guys

Ive recently picked up my new / old Z4 (2003 model) and going through the paperwork have found the documentation for the "Supaguard" treatment that the car had when new. Does anyone have any experience of this as I'm assuming by now it would have worn off so I can clay bar and HD cleanse without any issues?

I just wondered as many years ago my father had a car that had been treated with an "AMWAY" product and it was a total bitch to try and remove it and use a conventional waxing system in later years..

Regards.

Think it will be gone by now lol
I had I done to our old e92 a few years ago, waste of money. Just like putting a good few coats of wax on. As you say clay bar & you'll have a good surface for polish & wax

It should/would wear off if you washed the car with a citrus based shampoo or fairy liquid. But it'll be long gone by now anyway.

Brilliant stuff !
Used to earn me £50 commission every time I sold a car with it.

It would have worn off after a week.

http://www.autoprotect.co.uk/ceramic-coat

been offered this on my new 1 series, Lifetime guarantee supposedly or is it still load of :fuelfire:

Those products are all a con. Instead of paying the dealership £400+ to then get one of their piss poor valeters to apply the product, a process that takes me 2 complete days in a matter of an hour or so. Look for a detailer who will correctly apply ceramic coatings following up with correct maintenance.
