Supaguard

I have just reserved my first Z4 roadster (Second hand mind) and the BMW dealer has offered me to have Supaguard put on it. No more polishing for three years. I am reserved about this, being more of a fan of bucket and sponge etc. Who wouldn't want to come over all touchy feely of a Z4?

At what price would it be worth it?

I had it put on my old X5 when I got that but for me its a waste of money and I wouldn't have it again I think you are best just looking after the bodywork yourself as never in a million years will it last three years!

I recall paying a small fortune for this some years ago

I don't think it's anything more than a good polish and wax

I recall getting a great car care kit with it but that didn't cover the £350 I paid ( and this was some time ago)

Take a trip to halfords, spend £60 on products and save yourself a bit of cash

If you prevail from that locale you should know Supaguard originated from good old Glasgow.

Snake oil is a bit tough but having been involved with the launch (Tiff Needel driving cars through the sea) I can say its a good product for mediocre cars but certainly not something I would endorse for one of our P&J.
