Sunny..glad its a rag top

I hope you all get sunburnt and that all of your roof motors fail at the same time and then it starts raining, I mean like torrential rain and you can't get the roof up and then you all drown in your cars.... :P

Anyway i'm off out for a drive... with windows down! :driving:
 
The sunshine is a bonus.
I drive with the lid down at every opportunity; it looks like a different car with the top down, handsome, beautiful, stunning.
 
Driving to work today, dress down day, t-shirt, jeans and sunglasses. 7.30 in the morning, roof down, not a cloud in the sky............... beautiful.

In fact apart from overnight, my roof has not been up since last weekend!

We may not get many weeks like this last one, but it has been worth the wait. :D
 
Been cruising down the A2 this week back & forwards to London... lots of cheeky smiles & knowing nods taken from ... & given to, no words needed 8)

Time to wake up & smell the coffee... rag tops rule this week & weekend... :driving:
 
9 months of the year here it is too hot to have the roof down without frying your brain, hence the coupe.

Put the windows down and I get to hear the exhaust 'melody' in the shade...perfect :-)

Although for 3 months of the year it is too hot to even put the windows down...

And as for those in Blighty...I hope the sun hangs around for a few minutes / hours at least.

I know it makes me sound like I'm making excuses for the British weather here, but one of the things I like about the Zed is when you get the chance to put the roof down it feels like a totally different car. If I had the roof down all the time then perhaps I wouldn't appreciate it as much.

I must say though, that every time I press the roof-open button I am expecting the roof motor to fail half way...
 
Enjoy it while it lasts; every cause has an effect and a late heatwave will probably mean early snow next month in the UK :roll:
 
Just spent 10 days in sunny Arizona and New Mexico, did the Coronado Trail (94 miles and 453 corners) and a few other really twisty ones.... :D roof down as much as I could stand... the temp was over 100F every day so the mornings were fabulous, the afternoons got a bit sticky so roof went up and AC blasting....just to survive the day 8)

there was one poor sod in a Z3 M Coupe but he was quicker than us so "No Comment" :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The Arizona Z Sports Car Club, 4 day Silver City tour.....definitely a must do for anyone near there.....

Shurrrruppp You lot!!!

Its bloody weel raining here in Glasgow... Jeez.. I hate this place more than you lot for rubbing in how sunny it is supposed to be.....

I could still do all the above in my roadster... but for those other 3 months where it is not too hot, you couldn't do what I could...... with your tin lid :D .

If they cost the same over here as they do over there I'd have one of each...now that would be perfect :-)
