Sunglasses compartment

How do you remove the 1st aid box under the passenger seat so that it can be moved to the drivers side?

you have to remove (or lift up) the seat, slide out the box and then unscrew the fixing brackets - then its the reverse to fit it under the drivers side

Like the first aid box idea.... but does it have to be a Z4 one or do ones from models fit?

E46 first aid boxes definitely fit - and you can always get 2 of them, passenger side and driver side.

I can live without sunglass holders, but then sadly E85 users have no choice! :poke: :fuelfire:

It seems that the parts numbers for the First Aid box and under seat bracket are the same as for an E46 so I've bought a complete 2nd hand one from ebay. I'll let you know how it fits. :)
Update..... The E46 one from eBay arrived complete with bracket and fixing screws. I checked under the seat and our '03 3.0L has the bracket already fitted, happy days!
The brackets are exactly the same and the box fits perfectly. So I now have a spare bracket and screws if any wants to make me an offer....

One of the first mods I ever did, was fitting the additional First Aid Box. Very handy extra storage for stuff you rather keep out of view . I have Ray Ban Aviators that fit neatly in sunglass compartment, never had any issues.
