I had a couple of hours spare this afternoon so went for a drive and took a few pictures. No time to clean the car but some great shadows to play with and despite the look of the sky over the mountains it was mostly sunny. The drive was by far the best bit over the hills on clear roads :driving:

So where did I go? Last picture should tell the UK folks:

You got it Mike.

Picture start of Thope cloud through the car then move on until the under the tree is parked up in Dovedale car park and finally the famous Stepping Stones. For those not from these shores the focal valley of the Peak District - one of the UK's National Parks.

Getting there causes me to have a 30 mile drive each way over fantastic flowing roads, sweeping bends and hills with just a handfull of speed cameras to watch for and a few quarry lorries to add a bit of spice passing :driving:

Mmm the roads look awesome there, the natural habitat of the Z4. MIght go for a thrash this weekend after seeing that.

Ooh, I get so excited seeing pics like that. I'm not sure which I like better... pics of a Z4 or girls... 8)

Tough choice there. Tears me apart that I don't know which I like better. Phil, any insight on that?

I keep forgetting that in Europe that is what a sunny day looks like. I got spoiled to here where clouds are non-existant most of the time. Great pics!

I love the "looks sinister" pic..car doesn't look too dirty cj, damn sometimes you just have to drive and not worry about it  . Great pics

Hell no - I've been out and washed it already this morning.... If it wasn't for having to get some work done I'd giver here a quick detail.

Thanks for the coments on the photos guys. They turned out well for a point and shoot camera and no edits and for once the AE stand out.

Aebous - actually it was a cloudless day when I set off. They just seemed to close in on the hills.
