Sun is out - windbreaker question

So the sun is finally out but the question is will it stay.
Is there any point setting up the windbreaker as obviously going to go topless, but what if is starts to rain and the top has to go back on? The mesh windbreaker makes is very hard to see out the rear window with the roof up.

Another question about red leather seats ...can I wear pinkish/watermelon colour dress or does it look too silly and clash with the red seats? :oops:

I leave my wind deflector in all the time.

This is quite possibly the first time there's been a question on here about colour co-ordination with seats! :D

Ruby, SARS, Carol etc are much better qualified to answer...
 
I leave mine in pretty much all the time now it is lighter in the evenings ; in winter I take it off when not in use because it is dark either end of the day when I am travelling and it does limit rear visibility.

Depends if you are talking the plastic and mesh one fitted between the roll hoops, or the leather one that sits over the roll hoops and straps on (The Gimp Mask). Not sure if the visibility is worse with the latter ?
 
Yes, it's the one with leather over the roll hoops and then mesh in between...need to figure out how to set it up now..

That dress won't look great against the red seats, so take it off I say!! :oops:

Yup, topless on a day like today 8)

Andysat has the same wind deflector as you - he may have instructions for fitting. I think I found them for him actually, so will have a look through Photobucket...

Mines one of those too and I leave mine in all the time and throughout winter too. Never had any issues with visiblity.

But then again, I am a woman and let's face it, I only use the rear view mirror to do my makeup! ;)

It is lovely here right now. Due to last for about another 3 hours, then it is going to rain. A lot :cry:
 
I've done the two front straps for the roll hoops and one of the backs but can't find the other two!
Ps. It's really cold.
 
i left my wind deflector in place all over winter and had no problems.

i actually find it works like another dimming device, to stop those pesky sods in range rovers with direct sunlight for bulbs lighting the whole interior up.
 
Finally gave up and took it off to out back in the boot and found the straps in there! But it looks like rain now. :(
 
Sun today! If your south east!

I leave mine off, but because this post I may put it back on... Personally I don't know the difference apart from not being able to see!
