Hi guys,
Getting sick of these cold snaps. It was freezing this morning in Birmingham. Took the roof down a few days ago and it felt great...

Then again, I have just returned from three weeks in Thailand, It was awesome, albeit I was on honeymoon!!

As a testament to our cars the European who owned the resort I stayed at drove a 3.0Si Z4. Probably the only one on Koh Samui. I told him about the site, and he mentioned he was an avid reader but had not joined up, he also ordered a stubby!

Warm weather please come back!!!!!

Only had the roof down once since i got my car at the beginning of the year - last Friday, for less then 5 mins, before i wimped out and put the roof back up!

Bizarre weather today. Drove from Leicester to home this afternoon in snow (and I mean settled and white out) mid journey in sun and had to put the shades on (which immediatly misted up as so damn cold in the under seat storage). Ended up driving on thick snow the last 5 miles home. Not bad in a 40 mile trip :?

Remembered why I love the hardtop though

Had my roof down today for about 60 miles around the Antrim coast road in Northern Ireland. Very pleasant and quiet roads. So good to get it down.

Remebered why i love the hardtop again :headbang:

Wouldn't catch a 2.0 driver speakin like that 8)
HAHAHA
Man up will you :P maybe if u got a LIGHTER 2.0 u could afford to use some of the engines power to warm you up..!! Big heavy 3.0's need to use all the power they can...its like carrying ur granny around next to you!
Do you want that? I doubt it...so the lighter cars have the equivelant of a page 3 model next to us
Its simple fellas....lighter page 3 girl....or u end up chatting to an old bint who wets herself..
The choice is yours :D

Woots, ... everyone know that heavier is better in snow and what good is a Page 3 girl if she's wearing a Parka? Better off with a Jeep,.. :D or a Chevy Pickup Crew Cab (seats 5, count 'em 5, Page 3 girls and the driver)

Woots - get back to your T cuttin' and leave me alone with my seat wettin' old bint (I'm sure Mrs CJ will be well pleased with your description)

BTW - 150 BHP moving 1295kg seems poor Vs 231 against 1365kg. That gives us big boys a fair margin to move our bladder wettin gal around.

See...it would be 1295kg's...but im THAT dedicated to saving weight that i drive around on reserve fuel....and ive even resorted to stripping off the top layers of paint to save that lil bit extra.. :|
So thats deffo gotta tip the scales into my favour even more (mind the hoffifically bad but wholly intentional pun :P )

Ah Wooooooots I see we need to get out for another drive as clearly cabin fever being locked up in the valley is confusing and blurring your mind into some sort of parallel fantasy universe.

You forgot to mention the weight saving of 2 less psark plugs :poke:

Isn't 150 BHP a fairly large motorcycle engine, I didn't think they put them in real cars, maybe a Gogomobile or something similar but not a real car. :poke:

Unfortunately ive been posted to portsmouth so i barel ever go to the valleys anymore...and i think thats maybe the problem
All this shitty "inclement" (tryin to cut down on swearing) is driving me mad!!!
I wanna drive round some corners much too quickly :driving:
WELLL up for a drive sometime soon tho!!

Oh yeh but ive got one big fat exhaust...much lighter than two...
Girls will tell u they rather have one big one rather than two tittlers... its scientifically proven. FACT! :|

That's true, but what they didn't tell you was that they'd really like TWO big ones instead of just one, and more power to drive 'em.

Let's get back to the serious issue her chaps. CJ has admitted driving without his shades on.

Z4 is cool, shades are mandatory. It's the law. :poke:

Pretty sure they'd also appreciate something that doesnt need a break to stop/refuel all the time too... dont want the fun to end too soon do we :poke:
Last time i looked the 2.0 has WAAAY more endurance
And endurance is halfway to perfection peeps :)

Ahhhhh..i love innuendos

Never mind - I can think of worse places. Not many, but I can....lol

I'm down Brighton most of next week so know what it's like on the coast in this weather

It was about 7 years ago, the new BMW S1000R has 184BHP at the back wheel in standard form and weighs 210KG fully fuelled and all liquids topped up according to Bike Magazine in the UK.

PS. my sunburns finally stopped hurting(forgot my hat one day for a couple of hours and not a lot of protection up there these days), I can't wait for it to cool down at night 30 -35 degC everyday is starting to get a bit boring now.

What a load of poofs :P

Had my roof down on way in to work, at lunch, and on way home (did bottle it as I joined motorway though and put it up at the lights)

Z4 heaters are BLOODY good, heated seats from t'other side, a jumper and a scarf and you are away.

Hands can get nippy, but hey ho... tis lovely fresh air and so nice to just drive with roof down!
