Summer time perma-down roof

Now summer is on the way I'm looking forward to having the roof down ALL the time :trampoline:

With the car in the garage now I am mostly thinking that actually I won't even put the roof up - I assume that as long as it is dry, leaving it down all the time when it's in the garage will be fine as that's the state it's in with a hard top on through the winter... Any thoughts ?

Don't know about your garage but I find the car still gets a fair amount of dust on it, so with roof down dust will get into interior.

My roof comes down as much as possible 8) Shes a daily driver.

Mine gets driven every day, but good point about dust and condensation as the tumble dryer is in the garage. That said the garage has windows and during the summer the dryer vents out of one, so it's open. Being in Kent the summers are pretty dry. Just a random thought I had

Really I just wondered if leaving it down will cause mechanical or structural issues - a bit of blow dry dusting doesn't bother me. I like opening my garage door to a roadster with the roof already down, so that's what I am going to do

I thought exercising it was supposed to be a good idea. The owners manual talks about having to give it a helping hand after a long period of staying down (ie hardtop fitted)

As you have said, when you put the hard top on (which is supplied by the manufacturer) the roof is down. The only difference is that the hood is protected by the cover, thus if it got wet whist down I would put it back up to dry out before dropping it again.
