Thanks For Looking

Hehe, nice work there!

What products/process did you use on the engine bay. I could do with giving mine a go over. Did it with some rags, but a proper go-over with something attacky to get all the little areas is needed I think :D

Dave

Car is looking very nice, just bought a DA polisher, pads polish etc and will be having a go at mine in the next couple of weeks.

Dave i just use a spray bottle with some Megs LT and an MF cloth wipe over everything then dressed some parts with CG trim gel.

You can use AG Fast Glass on the plastics it dries with a nice matt finish and can be bought in Halfords.

Never used any sort of engine cleaner or hose on mine but i do keep it cleaned on a regular basis so no real build up of grime.

The first time i cleand the bay i had to use AG Tar Remover to get some stubborn marks off.

This is a handy tool i use http://www.lakeland.co.uk/sonic-scrubber-pro-detailer-brush/F/product/21569

What did you go for?

Kestrel DA with a various selection of polishes. I'll get round to experimenting next week, been away this week.

Nice work, especially for doing it by hand, Few small swirls on second last pic.. not severe though.

Thanks mate a fair few hours cannot remember but the bulk of the work listed below normally takes around 8 hours engine bay interior and hood done at different times.
