SUMMER AGAIN!!!

Now for my annual rant. Drove to work this morning p..ing down, windy and cold. I hope this is not gonna continue from last year cos I am going to have to sell the zed or move to warmer clmate where i can enjoy the use of it. I hate this country feckin sh..e weather :headbang:
Only three things i want to do. Drive the zed with roof down.. can't cos of weather :headbang: Ride bike... too windy and raining :headbang: Walking which i did last weekend in lakes and got yep you guessed it p..s wet through :headbang: .Ok yearly rant over got it out of the way early this year. Now i need to sit down before my blood pressure gets out of control! :x
 
My local petrol pump had a puddle the size of the thames this morning... i guess we never really had april showers this year... and silver lining no chance of a hosepipe ban :rofl:
 
I know - my Zed is usually a sunny day jaunt etc. but it sits in the garage more than it gets used - can't actually bring myself to take it out when its p*ssing it down though.
i am getting to the same stage i did when i had a Capri 280 that i used for shows which i missed more than i attended due to weather so sold it ! (bad move)

Should move to Tenerife :D Plenty of sun. Just need to convince the family its a good idea.

Was out surfing in beautiful sunshine off the South Cornish Coast last night. Not a breath of wind either. What's all the fuss about. :D
 
Rather then start a new thread, I thought I'd give this on a bump.

All roads in and out of the village were I live were flooded as it had been p**sing down all night and all morning,at one point we had to go off road just to get out of the village but thankfully in the GF's 500(she wasn't happy).
Apparently we are in for the same as last summer :thumbsdown:
 
Beautiful sunny day down here today ( as was several days this week ) :)
Been out several times topless !

If it wasn't such a PITA to get across the Solent we should think about a weekend meet down here one summer :
Camping / BBQ's etc or if you're old , feeble , rich B&B.

We already have several weekend invasions of scooterists , classic car fanatics - a procession of zeds around the Island would be a spectacle !
 
ironically, the day this thread was made was the one day this week i've managed to get the roof down :lol:

you should move south. much better odd's of having decent weather.

Yep the weather always better down south, cheaper to sell the zed than move south tho :?

But much better driving to be had in the North when the weather is good :driving:
 
Beauty of the zed is the roof goes up and down so quickly. I mostly drive with the roof down even when it is threatening to rain. Don't see the point of owning convertible if you drive it with the roof up. A lot of the time I am the only driver going topless !

Agree 100%. We can always pull over and have a roof over our heads in a few seconds. I do feel a bit of a numpty having to pull over though haha.
My roof is only up when it's raining or my boyfriend is in the passenger seat!
