Yes, it's one of the first changes I implemented in my 2011. I recommend using multiple button presses instead of the long or hold to open and close the top. Initially, I chose the hold method, but when I bent over while working on the inside, I began to close the top due to tight pockets.

I ran 3 wires from the inside switches, intention was to use a separate fob and radio link to open and close the roof.
But then need to carry the fob.
But i normally run the engine to operate roof so seemed a pointless project.
I could rig a timer so to make a one touch open or close, but might loose safety aspect if a sudden stop needed.
Pressing the buttons just switches inputs to negative.
