Suitcase in boot

Bit of a random one, but can you fit a large suitcase in the boot….and potentially one behind the passenger seat if it’s moved forward enough?

Totally depends on size. We can’t fit our large case in the G29 the dimensions all work but the full case won’t fit through the angle/opening even though the dimensions of the boot are big enough once it was in. Hope that makes sense.

Re behind the passenger seat I’d also guess it’d need to be pretty small as the gap narrows as you get closer to the floor for the transmission tunnel

I can fit in my checking in luggage (I think it's the second/third largest one from those samsonite fiber reinforced hardcase lineup) to the boot. So as Andy said, depending on how large your "large suitcase" is.

About behind passenger seat, I once put an apple tree from local farm shop behind the passenger seat with my son sat there and the roof folded. The only downside of doing this is the leaf disappeared after I reached home.

I’ll be picking this one up again from Tenerife airport…so hoping it’ll go in, otherwise they’ll be in a taxi following behind me

Funny, if this is why I’m thinking this is how I know the biggest case WON’T fit. We were in the Canaries in January and we’re picking up a rental G29 so tried our current large case in our G29 as we were also picking ours up at the airport and needed to know whether they’d fit or not . When it wouldn’t fit we used 2 Primark Medium cases @ £30 each, as they would fit. All good so far, on the walkway onto the plane in Glasgow an email pinged in just as we were getting on the plane, “Sorry sir, your booked G29 is not available but we’ll have a 420i waiting for you at an additional £350. If you don’t want this please respond by return” emmmm GTF. So we got the bus to the hotel and hired a car when there, a sh!tty, sh!tty, sh!tty T-Roc convertible was the only convertible we could get apart from the 420i.

Having gone from a G29 to a T-Roc I can feel your pain :D

As frequent visitors to The Canaries I have never been tempted to hire a convertible as apart from evenings you just end up boiling your brains in the strong sunshine

Get yourself to Tenerife....6am and 19c and 45 mins later 3000m up the mountain, watching the sunrise it's -4.5c
