Suitable place to install a 3 way crossover

Hi I want to upgrade the front speakers on my Z4. I have a Focal 165AS3 three way speaker kit which I was going to fit to my mini but the speaker sizes also suit my Z4. The kit comes with a not insubstantial 3 way crossover unit which is approx 140mm by 88mm by 40mm.

Has anyone fitted a 3 way crossover of similar size?

I would prefer not to fit it in the doors even though it means taking 4 wires through the door hinge boot rather than 2.

i fitted mine in the storageroom of the doorcards. fits tight. made 2 small holes in the doorcard to run wiring through. makes running all the wiring much easier
