Suggestions for new forum sections

Look - you can have an avatar now with the same size as your annual salary :lol:

Would 20k be possible? I can't get in a 120x120 jpg image cause its 18k . . :(

EDIT: No problem, I saved it as a 100x100 and gif and got under the limit

I will add a detailing section for the cleaning and polishing etc... I am not sure we need the other sections but will keep it in mind.

My thinking about this is really that some forums tend to over segregate the forums a bit, resulting in too many sections and diluting the "busy-ness" on the board.

I appreciate the input here, I really do, but until we get a little busier I think we'll keep the amount of individual forums to a minimum.

Cool... not sure it needs a separate section though... it'd go in the general section and then into the how-to section (coming soon!) I'd imagine. Am happy to provide whatever the masses want, but in my mind (especially as the forum is new) we could do with keeping the amount of different sections to a minimum, and split out into new sections as we get busier. What do you think?

IF you have the time, a how-to about the valentine install would be much appreciated :D
 
No problem. A How-to/DIY would be great at some point. Whether you want it now or later is entirely up to you. We just need to make sure we move those threads when the time comes.

I'll get crackin' on the V1 hardwire DIY with pics and such. It's super easy.
 
My favorite section of the old forum was the Meets and Get Together's or whatever it was called, I forget exactly. But there was a North America section, Europe section, and one other one that I forget also.

Sounds good.. I recon for the early days we could share 1 section and prefix the threads.... then split it later if need be... what you think?

DUH, Not very observant am I.
 
Jim, would it be possible to change the Icons for "New Posts" and "No New Posts". It's kinda hard to differenciate between the grey and the white in the Z. Maybe change the white to Red, or darken the Grey a little?

You have a good point there, especially on a TFT. However, I have the new skin ready and will be putting it on over the weekend. If I get chance I will add a little contrast this evening to make do in the mean time. :D
