Suede cream seats

Hi I'm new
My z4 has very pale cream leather seats with suede parts to it.
The seatbelt keeps rubbing the suede part making constant filthy marks. I can remove them but the constantly return and by me constantly removing , this wears the material. I have tried cleaning the belts but to no avail. I have been to b m w thinking this must be a common problem but they look a me as if I'm a loon! I have bought a padded Seat belt cover but it's not really the answer, any ideas guys?

I'm guessing this is an e89 (2009 onwards)? As you've posted in the prior model section but I've read people complain of this before.

The alcantara (not suede) does mark from the seatbelt if you are of smaller stature and need the seat forward. If you're taller the seat is usually further back and your shoulder takes the belt rather than it rubbing on the seat.

There is no fix other than to keep it clean with alcantara cleaner or to attempt adjusting the seat.

I have the Kansas beige leather seats and had the same problem.
Bought some of those cheap pads, but tied them to the d ring the seat belt passes through over the shoulder with some thin elastic you usually find tying shoes together as pairs in shoe shops, often find it lying on the floor.
That way it keeps in place and keeps the leather clean.

It does seem silly when a lot of cars have guides built in for this purpose.
I think the previous zed had them.

Better still I saw a video of guy with yankee sports car and the seat belt inertia reels where between the seats.
Great it saves them getting trapped in the doors.
So why not all two seat sports car have the same?
 
I tried putting the seat right back and makes no difference, I think I'll end up recovering the seats eventually! I've bought Velcro seat belt "covers" which helps but it's a pain having to place hem in the right place each time!

That is why you have to tie them up at the top to stop them dropping down.
 
But the magic sponges from discount shops 5 for £1 A very fine structure to the sponge. Just add water and gently wipe any stain away

I wouldn't recommend that on alcantara. Those sponges are abrasive and alcantara is very easy to damage.
