Sucking air ?

Hi all my first post ,only had my zed 2003 2.5 se for a week and love it to bits...... anyway when i press the excelerator pedal for split second it sucks air then revs normaly ...any ideas any coments welcome

The throttle is not physically attched to the throttle body/ies, so it takes the input from the pedal, puts it into the computer and the works out how much to open the throttle and how much fuel to put in, etc.

Do you have the same delay when you put it in 'sport' mode?

Just tried it in sport mode ,it does make it more responsive but still hear a big suck of air ..must be normal ? thanks for your fast reponse

If it's just the sucking noise then I wouldn't worry as it's probably just the delay from opening the throttle to the air coming in.
