Very cheap... but, all in the flippin south/south east, miles to travel, so likely have to fork out for hotels, then special insurance for the track etc. Nice idea tho.

That Cadwell Park one for £39 seems tempting. Depends on whether Classicline will cover me for anything less than a ridiculous cost.

Insurance is approx £70 premium for £10k insurance 10% excess.
Eg. Insure for £30k premium would be around £210 and £3k excess.

Hmmm tempted!! Love Brands and local to me!!! Need to know the limits of the car in a safe environment (granny driving round corners at the mo) so I think the first track day for me would have to be in an aerodrome (I see Bradford is on there)... Loads of runoff/no gravel...

My cousin went to a track day at bruntingthorpe when he had a boxster, was privately organised through a forum, they had the whole day and worked out pretty cheap!! Some people made good use of the in field exploring the limits of the cars!!

Bruntingthorpe is pretty central and easy for loads to get to, has a Z4-forum meet been organised there before??

ClassicLine give me cover at The Ring and any other organised trackday as part of my policy at no extra cost. 20% XS though for The Ring and 10% elsewhere.

Cadwell is a great track - bit narrow as it was mainly for bikes, but still a fun track. Just 20 minutes away from me too

I think we would prefer to avoid the drive
