Just wanted to clarify with the experts on the forum, are all rear subframes across the Z4 range (excluding M) the same ie 2.2, 3.0si etc - ive heard the E46 is the same frame too?
 
What we could do with is a list of vin numbers for each engine size and spec so we can cross ref on real oem

So to start at the top of the tree

Z4MR 2006 LD39448


Z4 2.5 2003 LR41526

Can others fill in some other cars and if someone has a E46 add that as well
 
If you click on the part number on Real OEM it'll tell you what other cars that part fits / is used on. For example, if you search for the subframe on a 2003 Z4 it'll tell you that it's the same part number across the whole pre-facelift range so you know that the same subframe is used in all those cars. So not sure how collecting Model numbers / VIN's will help? :?

Can't help with your question OP but pre-facelift Z4's all used the same subframe. Facelift cars seem to have different subframe's but that doesn't mean they're not interchangeable.
 
E46 is definitely not the same rear subframe... and for good reason! Thankfully BMW learned their lesson there.

Well the part number for the coupe is 33306776593 and is superseded by 33316786643 on both N52 engined cars. The prefacelift cars are fitted with 33306777725 which superseded 33316786644 which itself supersedes 33316772362 and 33314034466. Is it really possibly BMW changed the design for the E86 and facelift E85 and is that design so different so as to make interchangeability impossible?
 
Part  33306776593 was found on the following vehicles:
Z4 E85   (10/2004 — 08/2008)
Z4 E86   (10/2005 — 08/2008)

They are all the same I'd say.
