Always loved the classic look of style 32’s and wondered how they’d look on a Z. :)

have never really been excited with the look of 32s on a zed, even though I absolutely love them. Plus the weight benefits.
been searching for them as well, but not really sure if one should go for 17s or 18s.
What are these?

Heard the weight benefits only apply to the 18's..
So you're going to have to get the 18's lol :fuelfire:

They look like 17 inch wheels. They are one of my favourite classic styles.
I think Marlon had these on his z4 but in 18 inch.

These are 18’s...but concave version. The originals has deep dish rears but BMW refreshed the design from dish to concave with the e60 chassis.

I have Style 32s on my E86, so I'm already a big fan. A classic design, with spokes far apart enough for easy cleaning.

I was not aware that there was a concave version. Mine are the old straight spoke type.

Looking at the pictures, I noticed the black wheel nuts. Have you changed your Z4 to a stud and nut configuration?

They will be mega rare as the only E60 the 32s went on were the 4x4 models & those were never available in the uk

And they still have the same weight saving advantage?

No idea as never handled any but considering the weight of a E60 I'd say doubtful.
The 17s & 18s off a 7 series weigh standard , only the staggered 18s (8j et 47 /9j et50) off E46 are the lightweight versions.

As Mr Wilks pointed out, mine are the staggered 18's off an E46... but mine are 8j et47 / 8.5j et50.

These are the same as standard staggered MV2s or 108's on an E86

Correct converted to wheel studs, makes wheel swaps so much easier.

Re e46 vs e60, the e60 has much more aggressive offsets (front 8.0” et20 and rear 9.0” et32) and fill out the M better. Else I would’ve gone with e46 but I actually like the newer concave look as it’s pretty unique. But regardless I think all versions of the 32 look great on our cars.

Yes, I really like how the 32s look - on both the E46 and the Zs.

I wish BMW had built them with studs and nuts for the wheels. :headbang:

It's just so much easier when you need to change a wheel!

Typo on my part Re the 9j, had just been considering a set of E89 19s & they are 8j 9j stagger

Plenty of vendors sell quality stud kits, conversion is quite simple... def a mod worth doing...

I’m actually the opposite, much prefer the original dish type 32. Concave doesn’t do it for me. Nice, but not as nice as the dish type

Been looking for some for ages! I guess the good thing is if I need to sell I know they’ll hold their value!

Indeed I did - great choice OP  :driving:

Correction - mine weren't the concave rare ones like yours

Original dish for e39 requires hubcentric rings (74.1 -> 72.6) which I’m not crazy about. Not to mention theyre discontinued so you pay up the nose for a reconditioned set. The concave ones can still be sourced at a dealer for new...

Liking these wheels more every day...
