WANTED Style 32 wheels - 18”

Have set my heart on finding a set of style 32s for my e86. Understand that lots of different variations of these were made - looking for a direct fit so I THINK the ones I need are the staggered 8j/8.5j ones. Flexible on condition but there can’t be any cracks or welds.

Happy to buy them off you, or I could also do some sort of swap for my current MV2s which are in really lovely condition.
 
Style 32s are lovely wheels and are apparently lighter than MV2s and 108s so long as they came off an E46 3 Series - they were fitted in different sizes to other BMW models.

The E46 ones are the same dimensions as MV2s, 8J IS47 front and 8.5J IS50 rear.
 
Good luck. Having spent several years looking for a decent set of style 32s, I can tell you that a good set will cost you about twice as much as a good set of MV2s. But they are, IMO, one of the nicest if you get the right fitment.

Cheers Mr Tidy, that helps! I had heard they were quite light, I wonder if that’s a good or bad thing with the state of the roads currently😖

Oh blimey, 2 years! I spent 6 months looking for my coupe, that was bad enough. I do wonder how picky I should be about the condition of the wheels - per my understanding of alloy wheels (which is not very much), as long as there’s no major structural damage then generally they can be sanded/stripped back and brought back to their former glory?
 
I had a set of black 32s years ago with winter tyres on but never used them as my Z4 stayed at home when there was snow, ice or salt on the roads so I sold them.

I had a couple of 17" wheels acid dipped and powder coated (which is the way to go IMHO) in 2024 but it cost just over £160.
 
Generally speaking, around £90 per wheel for a professional full refurb, although this does seem to vary with whereabouts in the country you are. It is possible to refurb wheels yourself, but I wouldn’t fancy doing this on a style 32 due to the number of spokes and difficulty sanding between them.
