Holy thread revival Batman....

My 19’’ twists are away for refurbishment and, in another thread, @mr wilks you mention 245/30/19’s for the rear.

Is that because I’m thinking about dropping the E86 on Eibachs?

If I can get away with a deeper sidewall for even better ride comfort I’d be tempted to do so...

Not ordering tyres for a couple of weeks, so plenty of time to male a decision

You sure i said 245 30 :? i wouldn't run any rear 19s on any Z on 30 profile , 245 35 on a 9j rim / 255 35 on a 9.5j would always be my choice , if you had to go to a 30 just to get it to fit then they are the wrong wheels / offsets for a Z

My mistake, you did indeed say ‘35’ but suggested 245 instead of 255

245 does cut down the tyre options though, as less manufacturers make a 245/35/19

I had these on my car with 255/35 rear and 225/40 fronts. Car is lowered and I had no rubbing.

Hi, yes I saw that you went back to 224’s ....was there any specific reason, were they a lot lighter even including tyres?

225/40/19 seem like quite a chunky tire for the front?

Any issues with rubbing lowered on 224’s ?

Went back to 224's as they suited the car better imo. Not had any rubbing with them at all. 10mm spacers on front too.
