Looking at that, I expect it is the same principle as how we would do the SBSL or SBSR. You'll just have to find the correct module within WinKFP first then I would expect that the process we use and that @bigwinn linked to, will work in the same manner.
 
Trying to get a second hand airbag module working on a different car is a workaround - BMW will never sanction such a process for all kinds of liability reasons which is why its not possible with any official software.

Surely INPA etc was originally 'official'? Whilst I understand your sentiment, without those of us trying to help out people with airbag issues there would be a lot of perfectly good cars being scrapped.
If you don't want yours done that's fine. I'll give you £500 for it when the airbag light comes on. :poke: :cool:

I agree. My problem is that the software won’t install on my laptop. Not sure why. I don’t understand all of the failure jargon on the computer and I’m not interested in it enough to learn that. Changing out axles is more of my interest.

I want a software that I can press install and it does it. Then go fix what I need with it.

I tell everyone, yes I can use a torque wrench too, but I have no idea how to build one. Same applies to software.
 
I don't have a sentiment, I'm just stating what BMW's view probably is. They would never fit a used airbag module to car. Personally I'd have no problem doing it.
