What does all the colour coding of the topics mean? (LHS of the title) :scratchhead:

On previous forums I've been on it was for read/unread posts
But these are all different colours with squares in the corners etc etc

I've searched to no avail, hovered over them.....

The little square means you have posted in the thread, rest as you say regarding read in read etc.

It's been a while since anyone asked, but this is it, not all combinations are below...

means a topic you have contributed to, but has no new posts

ditto but one you haven't contributed to

means a topic with unread posts (and is "hot" not sure what defines hot though, number of views or posts?)

ditto but not a "hot" topic

sticky topic, no new posts

sticky topic which you have contributed to, no new posts

sticky topic with new posts

means a "hot" topic with unread posts,that you have contributed to

So basically -

greyed - no new posts
coloured - new posts and either a normal or hot topic
little square top right - a topic you have contributed to, if it's green there are unread posts

Really annoyed you've asked actually, it is all a conspiracy about you and now we have to have a vote about whether we tell you or not and who we sacrifice in the process.
