If not, looks like someone has swapped your "head unit with a CD changer" to a "nav head unit", probably from a scrappy?

I know the thread is "stupid question" , but I won't ask if you have a massive square hole in the top of your dash :rofl:

The single cd units (business unit) sometimes come up on here, or ebay, or you can go aftermarket with a fascia plate
First one on a google search

That's the OEM business nav.

Only screen is the one built in

DPG, that looks exactly the same. Where is your cd player / changer hidden?

Ipod connectivity is good. But it's not the best ssystem I can't flick through albums and can't see any track names. :?

I think iPod or CD changer were the only options with this.

If you've got iPod connectivity then its doubtful you'll have the CD. The only place a CD changer goes is in the centre console between the seats.

I have the Pro version so have the CD slot in my dash.

Woah. Pretty shocked a company such as BMW wouldn't include the CD player as standard trim. The navigation system on it is terrible.

As I think you've found out, that's the business Nav system, it was only available in the E46, Z4 and X3. It's most of the pro Nav system, minus the monitor. In the Z4 and X3 you get no media slot, in the E46 you got a tape drive.

As far as I know the Intravee is the only device that can display text on the business Nav system

I'm almost certain the DICE won't work with it. It's not so hard to remove, as at least the connectors are all in the dash where you expect, you will also have a Nav computer that you could sell if you remove it.
