Stupid headlight question!

Hi everyone,

Apologies in advance for what is, I think, a really stupid question!

I drove home last night, turned on my headlights and all was well, nicely lit road and illuminated speedo etc. BUT I realised that there was no indication on the dash that they had actually come on. Switched to full beam and the blue light came on on the dash, switched them off again and nothing. On my previous car, there was a green light that came on to show the lights are on, but dipped.

So the stupid part...I don't remember if this was ever there on the zed !! Can anyone help?! Was it there before and has now broken, or was it never there in the first place?

And I guess the obvious follow up...if it's broken, does anyone know how to replace it?

Thanks!

dont think there is one as far as i know...never noticed one on mine but my lights are set to auto anyhow so never really think about them

Excellent! Clearly BMW have more confidence in my ability to determine whether the lights are on than Land Rover did!

Cheers for the help guys (and for not laughing at me!).

Yea no indicator on the cluster to show when the lights (position/pole and low beams) are on. Likewise no indicator showing when cruise control is engaged as well :/
