This reminds me of the crazy days of the late '80s. Classic car prices went nuts as the 'red braces' brigade didn't care how much they cost, they just wanted whatever it was. I ived in Northampton at the time and the Jaguar garage were asking over £120 K for a series 2 ragtop E-type. It all crashed (notthe E-type) horribly and people lost huge amounts of money.
