Had a little issue this morning with my petrol flap being stuck even when the doors were unlocked - I got a few strange looks in the petrol station forecourt trying to get it open, rubbing the frost off it and then checking the door guards, and inside the cabin for some manual release. Eventually gave up, went to work and got the manual out.
Apparently in the boot behind the light trim there is meant to be a manual release lever which will do it - I removed the drivers side light plastic (as the picture in the manual showed the boot light in the background), however cant find anything in there. It does say to pull the lever gently to avoid breaking it - is it possible the previous owner has ripped mine out? Any ideas if its an easy fix?
Luckily after i locked the car and unlocked it the flap unlocked also - otherwise i'd be pretty scuppered as I have a 30 mile drove home - and according to the computer only 20 miles left in the tank!
