Stubby...pfft!!!

you're not the only one anymore, got the puegot/citroen stubby this afternoon, mine snapped also, it was solid as a rock, i just got the antenna deck lose, so tomorow i'm off to the dealer.

Just put my OEM one back on, got sick of not being able to use the radio on the very occasion I wanted to use it.

I drove with stubby from nottingham to aberdeen with no problems.....

I just removed the stubby that was fitted to the M3 when I bought it. Compared to the Z with its 'whippy spec' job, the reception was poo poo. Just fitted an OEM whippy to the M3 now its better than the Z 8) The M3 works similar to the 5 series in that the display shows all the available stations, it now covers two pages at home

Well got it fitted today, no loss of signal..although even when i disconected the antenna...the radio was still working...

Just the mounting - the ultimate stubby!
