So I was just driving down the bypass, decided to open the car up and heard a slight crack noise, when home I looked around the car and seen this!

I'm furious! I bought this directly from BMW and paid the mugs price and its snapped!

It was ordered off the BMW eBay shop, is it worth me trying to get a replacement do you thinK? :?

I have had my bendy S2000 aerial since about 2005 from the last car to this... and its gone plenty fast! :wink:

Bizarre both mine did exactly the same ,but I put that down to putting the cover on without removing aerial
precisely the same spot but a carefull application of super glue fixed it
 
From BMW yet it doesnt even match the bottom part of the arial.

Bought mine from ebay was meant for a citroen or renault cost me like £4 and matches perfectly.

Only close up ish pic I have atm

I had one break in the same place too.Maybe it's a known weakness so worth complaining
 
Mine broke in the same place - assumed it was a pleb that broke it :?

They come with a 2 year warranty from BMW, worth a try maybe :D
 
craig ? have you been through a carwash ? :o :o better to admit your sin & move on . we won't judge you if it was just the once :wink:
 
Lol I would be too ashamed to even post here if this loss was the result of a carwash!

Genuinely I was driving at around the legal speed limit :? down the bypass and I heard the thing go......

I will email the CEO of BMW tomorrow and see how far I can take this.
 
I've got exactly the same stubby from BMW and it has also broken in exactly the same place :x

Will just buy a cheap one to replace it.
 
I've had a response from BMW, they want it back but will give a full refund.

Result?

Now I need to order a gypo stubby....
