From my simple maths that makes 5 of us so far.

We can also get a price reduction for a group but, although I am guessing this is only going to be a few cents.

Can I suggest we leave it till the end of the week to see if anybody else wants one and go from there.

If everbody is happy, I will contact seller for total price, see if he is still happy to mark as gift to escape customs (fingers crossed).

guessing the aerials weigh more than 100g including jiffy bag postage looks to be around £2 to send recorded.

Once i have all the info I will give you guys a total price, and then if everyone if happy I will order.

My only though is what happens if we get stung at customs, I assume it will at 17.5% so only another couple of quid each.

I've shipped a good deal of goods over from the US. I've always found it pays to get the cheapest postage you can find (usually USPS). The customs guys at this end look through the UPS Priority packages, the FedEx experess stuff etc. etc. on the basis that if it's worth spending a good deal on the postage, it's probably worth a good deal of VAT. If you're a cheapskate on the postage, they tend to overlook the package.

I would agree....
I've found the same thing shipping US to Canada.

FWIW.... on the 1st go round of the antenna;
A UK member bought a bunch and got the shipping reduction but not a group price.
Always worth a try though.

I have purchased a stock of jiffy bags to forward the aerials on, worked out at 25p each so doesnt add much to the cost.
