stubby aerial

Hi guys i know this isn't exactly m specific but i want to change my aerial for my m coupe the stubby type ive found this on ebay and just wanted to ask is this ok for the job. I had order that exact one on Sunday and live out in the countryside so will report back once I receive it :)
 
I also ordered this on Sunday but it's not turned up yet. It's to replace my current BMW stubby which seems to have snapped in half and is surviving in tact courtesy of the internal spring. The reception on my current stubby is fine - no noticeable deterioration.

Like Darren, I'll let you know when it turns up. I guess though, the small you go, the worse the reception will be.
