Stubby aerial

Just got mine thru the post yesterday n fitted it straight away n it looks the bee's knees  Really quick delivery.

Is it just me or is the AM reception really poor with this stubby? FM's perfect, but the AM volume has gone really low - the sound quality's ok, it's just the volume. Because of this, I'm close to going back to the long and flappy OEM aerial.

Can't tell as I don't think I've ever used AM.

I do miss my DAB radio though - anyone know if there's a DAB option available?

Got mine through a week ago and WOW, What a great mod, my FM is just as good and the AM hasn't really changed... :D

Quick question. Did you guys trim yours to fit, or did you just let the rubber flow over the top of the base. I did the latter and it just split the rubber as I tightened it. :/

It just screws in. Unscrew the OEM, very simple.

Basic question and may sound dim but is the GPS going through that aerial or not?

GPS sensor is located behind instrument console on the underside of the dash

re:richard 100/i have just fitted the same m'walk stubby arl recently, and find the same. fm rcptn is still good, tho am is quiter and more prone to losing signal than before. however i dont mind too much,as dont listen to am too often(only ocsnly for footy stuff),mainly fm listnr/cd,etc; and i think it looks alot better,so worth the small trade off :)

I just 'let it flow over' it did not split on mine, although i did not wrench it in too tight. did it ruin your stubby?
