To be honest don't really use the radio in my Zed, I just enjoy the sound of the engine... In my other cars though radio quality is important...

I've got a stubby that I bought off of Ebay. I've read that the fm antenna is somewhere near the bumper, and that this antenna is for am. I really don't notice any difference with radio reception, and imho it looks a lot better.

I got one off eBay for about £5. It's okay but the radio reception is notably worse in rural areas. It's worth it though as I use a cover to protect the fabric hood from the bad weather and unscrewing and rescrewing the original aerial was getting to be a bore

Being a Newbie, i have read that some members have a stubbie, what on earth?

It's when you can't be asked to do the job so get another guy to do it and make a bit of cash...oh wait
