In defence of the design I would say that it's no more of a 'hinge' once correctly torqued than the 2 bolts on the OEM at each end are a sliding mechanism...
The greatest flex will probably come from the long curve in the bar.
In practice all are a great improvement over nothing, assuming the driver can even feel it.

When i say miniscule, im talking about less than a milimetre in one little area.
I take the point of potholes etc, but that's what your suspension and springs are for. Your bodywork and bonnet (which has a little flex), will not be affected by the strutbrace as none of them actually move. Well that's what im figuring and have asked a fair few and they seem to think it ok.
I will monitor it and see what happens and can take it back anytime if have issues![]()
