strut brace

can somone tell me please,will a strut brace which is from an e46 m3 fit onto my z4mc??
 
pretty sure it wouldn't fit... dont have any evidence, just seem to remember it being asked before.

something to do with the front suspension being derived from an e36.
 
From an E46 you should be good to go. iirc, the fitting instructions also showed E46. I think you have to turn it with the "point" toward the rear for E46 and toward the front for the Z. I fit the OEM BMW to my 3.0Si coupe. Took about 5 minutes total, including torquing.

Oh, and search on strut brace, strut tower brace, etc. Lots of threads, some with pictures.

I know someone on here has fitted ones for an E46 onto a Z4, so might work for an M3 to an Z4M, but can't say for sure. I can't remember his username, but he was from the US and I think had 'sapphire' in his username. I even remeber his avatar being a pic of a black z4 with a light streek from his headlights. i remember all that, but can't remeber his username. LOL

Also, the ACS one is the same part for an E46 and a Z4.
 
Isn't the /M front end different though... although I guess it has to be the same width... surprised someone's not confirmed this yet.
