Strut brace

Would it make a difference on the stiffer coupe I wonder ? :driving:
Of course, the coupe is stiffer overall but the front end is the same as the roadster

I was following this thread with interest. Here’s the one I’ve invested in :)
I’ve yet to drive it, but I can see how it will be stiffer than the tubular ones. I reserve judgement on the handling improvement until I’ve driven it, but I do like the look of it if nothing else 😂

Looks very well made and purposeful!!

[ref]Angelus666[/ref], was on eBay but from a pretty reputable brand... here’s the link 👍👍

Does look great, but does the design make it incompatible with adjustable suspension? You’d need to take it off to make tweaks, which might also lead to needing an alignment.

[ref]MrPT[/ref], you’re absolutely right that it wouldn’t be compatible with adjustable units if adjusted from the turrets. Got alignment arranged for the start of next season 🙂

Well that’s great, it’s saved you £2-3k already. :D

Interested to hear how it feels once you’ve driven it. I’ve never taken mine off but a back to-back comparison would be interesting.

[ref]MrPT[/ref], 😂😂👍 Will be sure to give a proper review of feel when she’s back on the road.
I’m interested in your BBK by the way, noticed it in your signature... got any info on it?

It's this - there are couple of pics of my car on the product page. I sanded off the Aston Martin logos and replaced them with Brembo decals:

Not the cheapest kit but the brackets are quality (anodised Al with threaded inserts) and the DB9/TTRS front brake is a perfect replacement for ours in terms of piston size and swept area. It's also very light, saving over 5kg of unsprung mass.

Nice one [ref]MrPT[/ref], I saw this site recently so great to know I’m looking in the right places... what pads are you running?

Just the Pagid OE-equivalent ones. Cheap, good feel, low dust and perfectly adequate for “spirited”’road driving.
