Strut Brace Torque settings?

Going to be fitting my BMW strut brace tomorrow morning and just wanted to confirm.

I'm pretty sure I was told to tighten to 45 ft lbs on the torque wrench.

Can anyone confirm - can't find the posting.

The two on each end of the brace are meant to be tightened with an open ended spanner. The three on each strut to 35nm. But be careful because around this torque they will start to weaken. I would do to around 32-3nm. Somebody else reported this also, think it might have been bmwz4mc.

45 what? Nm?
That might be a bit much; I presume you mean on the m8 collar nuts from the upper guide support bearing?

I'd use the values from TIS
(for the m8 collar nuts it's 34Nm and replacement of the nuts (Not that I do that, but it's BMW advice)

I reused the one supplied, just put a drop of loctite on them.
