J Jakg Member Suffolk Aug 12, 2018 #1 Trying to remove the VANOS unit from my 04 Z4 3.0 M54 but can't get the unit to come out - removed all the bolts but it fouls on a coolant hose. I can't see how the hose attaches to remove it. Any ideas?

G Grumpyowl Lifer North East Derbyshire Aug 12, 2018 #2 Check with DLW (Ducklakeview ) I think he loosens engine mount bolts and jacks up the engine . I maybe wrong but check with above .
