I finally received my Stromung back boxes on Friday. I ordered them direct from the US. With the exchange rate being quite strong at the moment it worked out very cost effective. Even the import charges were very reasonable and I didn't get charged as much as I was expecting so that was a bonus.
Anyway, fitting them was a complete and utter ballache. Every single bolt snapped apart from 2. One of the flanges on the mid pipe also snapped so it was a good job I already got hold of some Peugeot clamps before starting the swap. The flange on the passenger side is pretty much welded onto the mid-pipe which is a bugger as it could be done with being rotated a bit so I can bring the backbox slightly closer to the bumper. So with that in mind I have ordered 2 new flanges from a guy that machines them on M3 cutters. The design is pretty genius and means you don't have to cut, and then re weld the mid pipe.
Anyway, the sound. Pretty damn epic. On startup they are much more purposeful and deep. IMO they sound exactly how the car should have left the factory. A much deeper and muscular sound. Some great pops and bangs between gear changes as well which is nice. They look great and fill the rear bumper really well so that's another plus point.
Here are some pics for now I will update later with some videos.
