Stroke of Luck! Update with a happy pic

So I was debating cancelling my BMW extended warranty coming up to Christmas as I really don’t use the z enough to justify it. That was until I went to get him out of the garage for the MOT and it wouldn’t start- not even jumping off my X5. I put a new battery on in the summer so knew it wasn’t that so made the call to BMW recovery and after some head scratching the technician decided it was the starter motor. Car has now been transported to Synters to get sorted. Oh how pleased I am to have warranty right before Christmas! extra plus is that I was able to bump start the Z as he came out of the garage so more signs that point to a starter motor!

Starter motor replacement isn't an expensive job, but it's not exactly something you want to be changing in mid December :lol:

Yep mate- 1 year auc and 10 years extended cover- don’t even want to think what that’s cost lol!
