Stripping - when is your hardtop coming off?

A few nice days - sun shining, but still sub 10 degrees
I am itching to get my hardtop off
When are you planning to strip yours off?

I'm almost as tempted as you to wip the top off. I've thrown a few jealous looks across at drivers without hard tops that are making full use of the sunshine.
Got the weekend off so might, remove it then. I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!!

I had my top off on Tuesday as it was a nice day. Put it back on again in the evening as the soft top is nice and dry. Doesn't take more than a couple of mins to do.
Looking forward to some warmer weather again, so I can keep it off.

I took my hardtop off on Sunday ... ready for the 'first day of spring'!
Had the top down on Monday and Tuesday for the commute to work ... it was clear and sunny ... but only 2.5 degrees.

But I wasn't the only 'idiot' I saw another couple ot convertibles with their tops down :driving:

Had mine down heaps the last 10 days or so.. if it's a beautiful clear sky it has to happen, regardless of the temps :)

Mine will be off for Robbs's North East meet, but if the weather stays like this it could be off sooner

Tempted this weekend, but that will just make it rain for 2 weeks :x

Coupe owners will soon be winding down their windows too :poke:

As a nice cosy warm coupé driver you lot are softys. Get the top down! :P

One of my mates has an Elise, and he gets very strange looks for driving around with the top down, heaters on full and wrapped up in scarf and gloves in the middle of winter. I'll take his word for it but apparently the best sensation you'll ever get when driving is thundering along a twisty B-road with top down on a freezing cold but sunny and fresh morning.

Anyway, I'm off to wind my window down.

When I had the top off on Tuseday, I went to fill up the car. I got some funny looks from others who were filling up there cars. A couple in a land rover were shaking theirs heads and laughing on the way of the petrol station.

I laugh at myself when the roof is up. Just done 50m with clear blue skies & roof down here in Warwickshire. Probably about to head up the M6 with the roof down too.

I've got a few days booked off work next week, so mine is most likely to coome off then so I can enjoy the sunny days ahead. We still might get more snow..........

Great topless driving yesterday! Trip to Wales just for the drive!

Dropped it down a couple of gears through some tunnels. 35i sounded great!!

Very surprised on fast dual tracks how windless it is with the roof down, even at ...... um...... quite fast speeds!! :P

I am now topless and very nice it is :D
I am leaving my winter wheels on until April though
These hardtops are big when you see it hanging on your wall

I noticed this too at the weekend - there was pretty much no buffeting or wind noise at all in the cabin. :D

Off it came today :)

That of course made the cloud roll in, greyed over and temp dropped, so it stayed in the garage
