It is in fact a chromolybdeem spaceframe, the only original Z4 part is the front windscreen.

Their are many options and mod's to let the car go quicker. To understand the reasons behind al of the choices we have made, you have to understand the concept. The reason for the Zilhouette to be build was to get an affordable race car out their with low running cost. We are not making a race car (it always will be quicker with better, read more expensive parts), but we are trying to approach one for a sertain amount of money. With only the 2,5 Liter engine we easily beat track prepared E36/E46 M3's, Uprated Z3M (seq. gearbox, SF brakes etc.) All with standard parts. (and those are really important for low runningcost) With a price of around 30.000 pounds for a cup ready example, you can have allot of fun in close competition racing, and you all would know what a race prept. Z4 would cost, not to mention when you have a crash
Although this one is made for the cup, their are some new developments on quicker versions... Will keep you guy's posted if you like![]()

It looks good 8)
Next to that, most of the tubular frames available are 'nascar' (V8star) like designs, VW-beetje (fun cup),Ford Focus (BRL) etc... We wanted it to have a nice European GT feel to it, with a balance in the 'feeling of the speed' and 'actual speed' of the car.
